BIO
Brooke Rosicka
From a very young age, I have been drawn to all things involving...

art, design, travel, and family!
When I left my hometown of Corbin, KY for college in 2002, I pushed the paint brushes aside and traded them in for chipboard, snap blades, mylar, lead pencils, and AutoCAD.
In 2007, I received a 5-year B.ARCH degree from the University of Kentucky's College of Design / School of Architecture. I was able to travel abroad with my college classmates, took many extraordinary trips, and had incredible opportunities to see many breathtaking sights.
After 5 years of Architecture School and 7 years in the professional world of Architecture and Design, I moved to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida in 2013 on a whim to be closer to my family. From there, I began a new Architectural sales job that allowed me to travel across the United States every week for a year. The travel part was a huge highlight for me and allowed me to visit cities I hadn't seen in years and places I had never traveled to before. My love for travel was fulfilled, however, the in-office environment was not in alignment. If there's one thing I have learned in this life, it is to listen to my instincts and follow my heart. I had no choice but to close that chapter of my story abruptly, so became a beach bum for a brief moment of time. While it was exciting and invigorating it was equally frightening... I allowed myself to trust that all was in alignment. And it was. I listened to my heart and spent a lot of time nurturing myself spiritually from the inside out. I had unknowingly created a space to allow myself to settle into the coastal lifestyle. It was a miraculous and pivotal moment in time. And, that's exactly when I met my future Husband. I am in awe and gratitude as I reflect on how it all unfolded.

Fast forward to now... My husband and I reside in Santa Rosa Beach with our 2 sons, Carter and Colton. We embark on frequent "staycations" (away from home but nearby) AND we've all developed a strong love for Walt Disney World. We travel to Orlando about once per month and we love all things Disney. With all the challenges that the world presents, above all else, we know that life is meant to be lived and we strive to create space for joy in the midst of chaos.

For the last 10 years, I have worked full-time in nationwide event planning and am also a Travel Advisor specializing in Disney Destinations. But, of course, my most important role to date -- is being a mother. My children have opened my heart and have guided me beyond my mind's limited perceptions. It's amazing what they have come here to remind us of. All you have to do is meet them where they are and be open to it.
And just Be.

We each deserve to let our heart's desires shine.

What makes your heart shine in this big world?
